Carbon acts as a sponge to adsorb VOC’s. Includes carbon prefilter and 100% carbon canister VOC filter. Granulated carbon collects chemicals and odors on a molecular level. VOC cartridge air filter is important where increased VOC removal is required. Amaircare ULTRA VOC Canisters are 100% carbon. Kit contains : one Stage One Filter: 1/8†Foam Prefilter, One Stage Three Filter: Granulated Carbon pellets encased in steel mesh canister (1550g = 1,705,000 m2 adsorption surface area), one replacement O ring/gasket.
