Why You Need an Air Purifier

What makes the PAMTC14 UltraSlim Air Purifier Special?

To pull air through the tightly woven filter, air purifiers with filters need large fans, which make a lot of noise and result in larger units. Because of Zojirushi’s advanced technology in creating a fan that is thin and quiet, yet efficient, along with a filter that is thin to begin with, the UltraSlim is an air purifier that is aesthetically pleasing without compromising efficiency. The Name Says It All

It’s UltraSlim. While most air purifiers are bulky and take up a lot of space, Zojirushi’s PAMTC14 UltraSlim Air Purifier is only 5-1/8 inches thin. Not only is it unobtrusive, the contemporary design is aesthetically pleasing and will blend in with any room setting. The PAMTC14 also has a very low 20-55 watt output during use, which allows you to have the air purifier running all day long without worrying about your electric bill. And because it’s so quiet, you won’t even realize it’s on.

Virtual Silence

The UltraSlim Air Purifier is virtually silent on the low setting, so you can go on with your life (or with your sleep) while the air purifier does its job. Because it’s only 21dB during operation, it’s also perfect for use in the baby’s room (a soft whisper is about 30dB). For example, here are some other noise levels:

• Bedroom at night: 20 dB
• Soft whisper: 30 dB
• Inside a library: 40 dB
• Quiet office: 50 dB

High Performance HEPA Type Filter

The high performance HEPA type filter works together with the carbon filter to not only remove pollen and dust, but also tobacco odor* and garbage and pet odors (*toxic substances of tobacco (ex carbon monoxide) cannot be removed). The filter can last up to 2 years under normal operating conditions, and is easy to replace. Odor Sensor The PAMTC14 UltraSlim Air Purifier features an Odor Sensor that automatically detects odors in the room. The Air Quality Monitor in the middle will let you know when it detects odor or bad air. When running in Automatic Operation Mode, the air purifier will kick itself to ‘high’ when it detects bad air. When the air improves, the air purifier will go back to ‘quiet’ operation. Check the CADR CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) measures the effectiveness of an air purifier. Compare our CADR to other air purifiers’ CADR to see how efficiently the UltraSlim Air Purifier cleans the air. The higher the number, the faster it cleans.
